DEVELOPMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMPETENCIES IN THE DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Today, digital technologies have become actively used in education, including foreign language education.  The problem of developing professional foreign language competences is inextricably linked to the ability to develop in a digital educational environment, to use the Internet and digital educational resources effectively. The development of digital literacy makes it possible to communicate safely within the digital environment in a new format. This article considers the readiness of modern students of foreign language education for learning in the digital educational environment of Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages. A number of digital educational technologies used in the process of learning a foreign language profession are considered.It is shown that when students successfully master digital technologies, they develop skills to work in a digital environment and form digital competence, which is necessary in a digital society. A number of digital educational technologies that are used in the process of teaching a foreign language are presented.
