Abstract

The formation of students' skills to present their ideas using applied programs using information and communication technologies (ICT) in order to provide computational thinking skills plays an important role in the development of modern society. However, it is necessary to conduct a lot of research on digital devices of students and their role in society, on working on the Internet, as well as on how best to put information technologies on computational thinking, robotics and how to train teachers into practice. This study is intended to study the level of development of computational thinking skills in the ICT discipline for primary school students.

The article describes the results of a survey of students on standard curricula of general education disciplines for general education organizations of primary, basic secondary and general secondary levels of education. The study allows us to find out what impact learning has on the ability to think responsibly, increasing digital literacy.

If we want computational thinking to take its place in the curriculum, then the issues of easily accessible resources or the development of teaching skills of the current results of the curriculum and its application are addressed. In fact, developing data and algorithms to create programs using coding that uses computational thinking is an important skill for elementary school children, which can be accessed using complex but easy-to-use programming languages and other tools such as spreadsheets and databases. These tools are justified by the need to create a workbook with an increased level of complexity in the process of student development.
