The development of cognitive interests and curiosity of preschoolers, taking into account independence, the formation of critically thinking children is one of the urgent problems of the field of preschool education in connection with the updating of the content of modern education. The purpose of preschool educational organizationsis to educate children from preschool age who are able to work with the setools, dueto the factthat modern children liveat a rapidstage of development of information and communicationtools.Andalso to develop children's cognitive interest in technical meansandtheir design. The priority of anytransformationwill be aimedatprotecting the right of everychildtoreceive high-quality and affordable education. It is known that the personalqualities of a childcorresponding to hisage are possible only if hepossesses innovations that contribute to the qualitativeindicators of educational workin preschool organizations and development skills.
This article discusses the features of the use of "Robo DIY" technologyin the development of cognitive interest of preschoolers. Analyzing scientific research, the definition of the concept of "Robo DIY" is given. Diagnostic techniquesaimedatdetermining the level of cognitive interest, the level of design andskills of independent activity of olderpreschool children have been carried out. The results of the study are presented and the effectiveness of the development of children's cognitive interestusing a new innovative approach tobuilding is shown. It is notedthattechnology contributesnot only to the development of children's cognitive interests, but also to the formation of independent thinking, expansion of knowledge, consolidation of skills, mastery of skills and education of moralqualities. The authors substantiate the impact of the "Robo DIY" technology on the development of key competencies in demandin the modern in formation society.
