Abstract

This article discusses the importance of gaming technology in the classroom of French as a second foreign language. French teachers around the world are trying to find new and better ways to teach their students. Gaming technology makes learning French fun and can help students increase motivation and overcome language barriers. Play can also be a great way to create a collaborative environment in the classroom. The use of games enlivens the learning process and can easily attract the attention of students. Also, students keep in mind the best knowledge gained during the game and develop communication skills. In this article, you will learn about the benefits of using games in your French class, how to choose the right ones, and see examples of games. We will answer a number of questions on how to choose the right games for planning classes. And also get acquainted with examples of gaming technology in French classes. The results of a survey among teachers of the Department of Translation and Foreign Languages of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University on the effectiveness of the use of gaming technology in foreign language classes are shown.
