Abstract

Neural network technologies open new opportunities for creating adaptive, personalized, and data-driven educational experiences in the professional training of future teachers. By combining advances in neural network methods and educational analytics, these technologies make it possible to personalize the learning process, adapt instructional materials to the individual needs of students, and support data-driven pedagogical decision-making. However, their implementation in teaching strategies and their integration into tasks aimed at improving pedagogical training remain insufficiently explored. Current research often focuses on describing the technical aspects of neural networks while paying less attention to their connection with pedagogical content, the development of professional competencies, and methodological aspects of teacher education. This article presents a systematic review of the use of neural network technologies to enhance the professional readiness of prospective teachers. The literature review synthesizes the results of 27 empirical studies published between 2015 and 2025 and describes the areas of application of neural approaches in teacher training. The analysis revealed that most studies are oriented towards higher education and are primarily focused on pedagogical, psychological, and technological disciplines. Furthermore, teaching strategies and tasks play a crucial role in shaping the professional competencies of future teachers and provide essential insights for the effective use of neural network technologies in education. In conclusion, the systematic review highlights the main challenges and proposes new research directions for integrating neural technologies into the professional training system of future teachers.
