Abstract

This article discusses the problems of developing experimental competence through the use of innovative approaches in the training of future physics teachers. The study was conducted with the aim of identifying innovative approaches that develop the experimental competence of future physics teachers and confirming their effectiveness in the course of empirical research. The main areas of scientific research are: theoretical and methodological justification of problems related to the experimental competence of future physics teachers; diagnosis of the initial level of student preparedness; design of the university educational process; organization of training and verification of the effectiveness of the proposed model. The methodological basis of our research is based on close interaction between the theoretical positions of researchers and the practical activities of physics teachers. A complex of theoretical and empirical research methods was applied. A thorough study of scientific literature and the regulatory and legal framework was conducted, and a pedagogical experiment based on survey procedures, including questionnaires and testing, was carried out. A project-based approach was used to develop a system for developing the experimental competence of future physics teachers based on innovative approaches. Its necessity has been confirmed by experts. The results of student diagnostics showed the high effectiveness of innovative approaches to the formation of experimental competence of future physics teachers in the experimental group. Correlation analysis confirmed a strong connection between experimental competence and self-organization and a moderate connection with teamwork. The developed system for developing experimental competence, based on innovative approaches, is theoretically significant for pedagogical science. Its implementation in the educational process is a practically justified and highly effective way of training qualified personnel in the field of conducting experiments in schools.
