TO THE ISSUE OF FORMING THE RESEARCH COMPETENCE OF A FUTURE TEACHER OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

This article presents the research competence of a foreign teacher as one of the most important competencies of a teacher. Given the fact that today’s educational paradigm places the students themselves, their needs, characteristics and talents and their development at the center of the educational process, the need for a teacher to master research competence is obvious.

The problems associated with the formation of the research competence of students are generalized. Such components of research activities as research skills and research tasks are revealed.
