The article deals with the concept of intercultural communicative competence as a reflection of the complex nature of foreign language education, characterized by the presence of certain knowledge and the skills of their application. It is very interested in the third type of relations on interaction and mutual enrichment of cultures, readiness for interpersonal and international communication. This is due not only to the need to form knowledge and content components in communication, but also to the acquisition of universal skills and abilities.
The article also examines the content and structure of cross-cultural communicative competence, implemented through four types of speech activity. Cross-cultural and communicative competence is an integral part of the structural work of a teacher. Today, it allows to effectively search, create and use various information in different languages in all areas of modern society.
