Abstract

The authors of this article consider the history of the emergence and development of career guidance in the educational space from the beginning of the last century to the present day. In the course of the study, they determined instability, a violation of the dynamism of the gradual development of career guidance in the educational process, based on the ideology, politics and economy of the allied countries.

The purpose of the study was to conduct an in-depth study of the historical prerequisites for the scientific creation of a new model of vocational guidance work in secondary schools of Kazakhstan, to determine its pedagogical, psychological, organizational and methodological advantages and disadvantages, as well as to identify scientific contradictions for the successful organization of vocational guidance work with a new methodological approach. character point of view. The fact is that the professional training offered to improve career guidance in modern general education schools is not yet able to show its positive result, and students do not have the opportunity to choose their own profession. The instability of labor resources in the labor market consists in offering them types of work of the generalized content of labor. Career guidance work determined that a general education school should not have an educational character, but a specific subject content.

Career guidance work is carried out not only in the interests of the general education school, it should have a practical orientation, i.e. it should be organized and carried out jointly with the school, vocational school, industry, service sector, local executive body and NCE "Atameken". The preliminary results of this work are based on studies conducted among students and career counselors of secondary schools on the basis of South Kazakhstan University named after M. O. Auezov, West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University named after Zhangir Khan and Taraz Regional University named after M. Kh. Dulati. Career guidance is carried out in these universities: master classes, workshops, seminars, trainings, an open day, an information portal has been created for choosing specialties, lectures by scientists, laboratory classes, competitions, olympiads for school students and career counselors.

The authors, taking into account the prerequisites for pedagogical problems in the area under study, identify contradictions that may be useful to young researchers and practitioners as new guidelines in training personnel within the framework of the emerging new Kazakhstani educational policy.
