At the stage of reforming the higher education system, the search for the ideal image of a modern teacher as a creator, innovator and converter is strongly influenced by global trends in the development of the educational paradigm. Firstly, it is a public demand for a new approach to learning that arises in modern socio-economic realities, and secondly, it is a change in the vector of the educational doctrine of higher education, which takes a course for the systematic scientific and innovative development of higher education.
Resource - individual abilities and capabilities of a university teacher are considered as the main components of the scientific and innovative potential of the teaching staff of a research university.
The study was conducted within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan IRN AR14872123 "Participatory management of the development of scientific and innovative potential of the teaching staff of the research university".
