Abstract

 This article examines the approaches and methods of organizing
students’ design and research activities in the process of learning programming.
Active interest in programming as the most important competence of modern
education indicates the need to develop creative and analytical abilities of
students. The methodology of design and research work is an effective approach
that encourages students to work independently and deeply on tasks, as well as
to search for new ways to solve problems. The study examines various aspects
of the organization of project research activities, including the choice of project
topics, the formation of groups, the organization of interaction with the teacher,
the choice of methods for evaluating student achievements and the analysis of
the effectiveness of projects. The authors focus on the importance of supporting
teachers and creating a stimulating educational environment for students to
participate in projects. Based on the analysis of the research results, design and research activities are
successfully organized when teaching programming in computer science lessons.
The approaches presented in the article contribute to the active participation of
students in the educational process, the development of their creative skills and
the formation of skills for independent problem solving.
This article is a useful contribution to the field of education and pedagogy,
contributes to the development of effective ways for students to learn programming
and the development of logical thinking. This can be useful for teachers and
researchers involved in computer science and programming.
