Abstract

The modernization processes carried out in the modern higher education system place demands on the training of specialists who meet the demands of economic growth and social development of society. And the change in the labor market requires the preparation of university graduates not only for a certain professional activity, but also, if necessary, to change its type, to engage in professions close to the main specialty. This is ensured by their professional mobility. In this regard, this problem is characterized by its relevance.

In the course of a retrospective analysis of the concept of professional mobility, we found out that this phenomenon was studied from the point of view of owning a certain profession by groups and individuals in society, achieving its highest level and social interaction between them, and then the content of professional qualities of specialists studying in higher educational institutions and ways of its implementation were considered.

In this regard, higher educational institutions aim to modernize the content of educational programs for the training of future specialists, to pay special attention to expanding the possibilities of mastering professional knowledge aimed at forming their readiness for change.

In the article, mobility is considered as an integral part of the professional qualities of future teachers-psychologists, the need for development in the conditions of professional training is emphasized.

The purpose of the article is to clarify the essence of the concepts of "mobility", "professional mobility", "professional mobility of a teacher-psychologist", to characterize the structure and content and conclusions of an empirical study.

The article analyzes the works of scientists related to the problem of research, provides the author's conclusions. The qualities included in the structure of professional mobility of a teacher - psychologist are specified, their essential characteristics are described. The results of an empirical study conducted at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai are presented.
