This article is devoted to the development of transversal skills of future primary education teachers at the present stage. Based on a study of scientific literature, an analysis of the current state of development of transversal skills is made. We are talking about training - one of the most important methods for developing transversal skills among future primary education teachers. Based on the interest of students in the trainings for the development of flexible skills, the relevance of the development of their transversal skills is defined in the article.
The results of planning trainings according to the Kolb model and conducting them with students of the specialty “Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education” at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and their feedback are analyzed.
The results of the study showed that students' attitudes towards transversal skills are positive. According to student reviews, the development of transversal skills during the training: the development of the ability to work in a team, creativity, effective communication, critical thinking, transformational leadership, emotional intelligence, time management, etc. creates the opportunity to receive a quality education and create a competitive nation. Interim research results describing the effectiveness of training methods based on the Kolb model and training methods proposed by the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge allowed us to create our own training system using national values.
