CYBERBULLYING IN THE STUDENT ENVIRONMENT: RESEARCH IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

The article analyzes in detail the problems of cyberbullying among students, defines the theoretical foundations of this problem in the works of foreign scientists. The basic rules of student cybersecurity have been clarified in the information space. In addition, specific and effective measures are shown to protect students from engaging in cyberbullying or becoming cybervictim. Two main directions of studying cyberbullying as a scientific and practical problem have been identified. The classification of cyberbullying in the scientific literature, the features of these types of encounters in the student environment are considered. It has been established that a high level of anxiety, depression and stress in the student environment and individual factors of adaptation to the university (academic adaptation, social adaptation, personal and emotional adaptation and institutional adaptation) are predictors of becoming a victim or aggressor of cyberbullying.
The results of a survey of 110 students from 2 higher educational institutions on the indicators of cyberbullying and online aggression aimed at identifying the causes, forms and consequences of cyberbullying are presented. An analysis of the results of the study showed that among students, about 10% of respondents said that cyberbullying was alarming, 3% noted that they had encountered cyberbullying, and almost the majority did not want to share information about cyberbullying. The students suggested that his views on the practice of cyberbullying may be born out of resentment and anger. This served as the basis for studying cyberbullying as an urgent problem. Methods and measures for the prevention of cyberbullying, pedagogical educational work and psychological and pedagogical conditions, as well as the imposition of punishment in the form of a specific response are considered. The results of the experimental work are described in detail, the results of the study are determined and a characteristic is given. The proposal to develop a menu of events for the development of a culture of communication in social networks and network ethics in the student environment has been clarified.
