USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE FORMATION OF SEARCH-RESEARCH COMPETENCE IN FUTURE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Abstract

The article deals with the methods of forming search -research competence of future foreign language teachers using digital technologies. The theoretical part of the article discusses the importance of the formation of search - research competence as one of the key competences of foreign language teachers. Also, clarifies the importance of mastering the search- research competence of future teachers for their professional development. The article defines the role of digital technologies in the formation of a number of basic competences of a foreign language teacher, including search -research competence.

The practical partof the article, presents the results of experimental work with the students of a language university for the formation of search -research competence using digital technologies. It is shown that digital technologies and the Internet play the important role in the formation of search- research competence. The process of organizing students ' search -research work is described step by step and with the help of a survey shown the effectiveness of this kind of tasks.
