Abstract

School students need to know many construction methods to make it easier to draw the point of intersection of a line and a plane and the line of intersection of two planes in a school geometry course. The article examines this problem and, to solve it, considers problems and their types in curriculums and textbooks on geometry in secondary schools, determines ways to solve problems, carries out analysis, solution methods and work with encountered errors, graphs and comparisons for visual representation, image of flat and spatial figures in the course of stereometric pictures, research work that determines the effectiveness of construction methods.

The purpose of the research work is to optimize the teaching of methods for constructing the point of intersection of a line and a plane and the line of intersection of two planes in a high school geometry course, as well as to provide methodological recommendations for solving problems, explaining the significance and essence of the topic.

Research methods - study and theoretical analysis of domestic and foreign literature on the research problem, as well as general education school textbooks and textbooks on geometry, analysis and generalization of teaching practice.

The authors have developed a methodology for teaching students to construct the point of intersection of a straight line and a plane and the line of intersection of two planes on a projection drawing, show specific problems with solutions and offer methodological instructions. In order to determine the effectiveness of the proposed methodology, a pedagogical experiment was conducted at school-gymnasium No. 208 and schools 125 HIGH SCOOL in Almaty. The results show the effectiveness of the teaching method for constructing the point of intersection of a line and a plane and the line of intersection of two planes in a projection drawing in high school.
