THE ESSENCE AND CONTENT OF THE CONCEPT OF «CREATIVE ACTIVITYOF A PERSONALITY»

Abstract

Modern society and education face the task of upbringing and all-round development of the younger generation. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary, first of all, to develop the creative activity of a personality. The problem of creative activity is the subject of research of representatives of different scientific directions and schools (philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, etc.). Today, the phenomenon of creative activity is represented in the scientific literature with a fairly large layer of multifaceted positions, reflecting its complexity and ambiguity.

This article reveals the essence and content of the creative activity of a personality. Various approaches to the definition of the phenomena “creativity”, “activity”, “personality”, “action”, “creative activity”, “creative action”, “creative activity of a personality” are analyzed, the authors` definition of “creative activity of a personality” is proposed, the fundamental components of the creative activity of a personality are characterized, as well as the structural components of the personality itself. Moreover, an attempt to identify the factors, conditions and principles of organizing this process is made. The purpose of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of scientists ` opinions on the phenomenon of the creative activity of a personality, substantiating the essence, content and importance of the development of the creative activity of a personality at the present stage of society development.
