Today, the education system in the country is faced with the task of activating the interest of secondary school students in the teaching profession and attracting the most motivated and trained applicants to teaching professions. The article focuses on the relevance of the early formation of interest in the profession of "Teacher", assistance in the conscious choice of a teacher's profession by high school students and scientific and methodological justification of the activities of pedagogical classes. Such interest in teaching classes indicates that, on the one hand, the idea of early pedagogical training was supported by students, their parents and teachers, on the other-the results of large-scale scientific, methodological and organizational work based on a memorandum between the leadership of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, the Department of Education of Almaty, organizations of general secondary education.
The purpose of the study is a scientific and methodological justification of the work of the pedagogical class in preparing secondary school students for an early choice of the specialty "Teacher". In accordance with this goal, the methods of theoretical analysis and empirical adaptation of scientific and methodological data are considered. The authors of the article scientifically substantiate the essence of the concepts of "preparation for the profession of a teacher", "activity of a pedagogical class", "scientific and methodological justification", etc. The scientific analysis carried out in the study made it possible to substantiate the principles and methodological approaches of the scientific and methodological justification of the activity of the pedagogical class. The article provides an exhaustive description of the scientific and methodological support for the process of pedagogical support for the training of students to choose the profession of "Teacher".
