It is concluded that the effectiveness of the formation of the managerial competence of a future teacher is determined: on the one hand, by the content and enrichment of academic disciplines with issues of pedagogical management, theory and practice of managerial activity; on the other hand, by purposeful involvement of future teachers in practice-oriented activities. The authors believe that the formation of the managerial competence of a future teacher is a component of the professional ethnopedagogical training of a specialist at a university.
