Abstract

Artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly important tool in education, opening up new opportunities and causing new problems. This article explores the introduction of artificial intelligence into the educational process, paying attention to related problems and potential prospects. The article analyzes various definitions and approaches to the concept of «artificial intelligence» in various psychological and pedagogical literature. Artificial intelligence is an intelligent system or machine that performs unique creative actions within the competence of people. The article presents the main types of artificial intelligence systems that are used or can be introduced into the educational process. In the scientific literature, intelligent learning systems based on the use of artificial intelligence technologies are considered as an effective means of improving the quality of education.The authors considered the main problems and prospects of integration of artificial intelligence. In the context of prospects, the following issues are considered: the possibilities of personalized learning, improving the quality of education by adapting educational programs to the needs of students, automating the daily administrative tasks of teachers. The article also examines possible problems associated with the introduction of artificial intelligence in education, such as the risk of teacher substitution, a decrease in cognitive functions and work activity, dependence on technology and the Internet.In addition, the article defines the attitude of students to the problem of the introduction and use of artificial intelligence in the field of education, the final conclusions are made based on the results of the study.The authors conclude that, despite the existing problems, the prospects for the use of artificial intelligence in education can significantly improve the efficiency and quality of the educational process.
