Authors substantiates the importance of the formation of auditory competence as one of the main competencies of a foreign language. The importance of mastering auditory competencies for the professional development of future teachers is considered.

The article discusses the application of multimedia technologies, the advantages and difficulties associated with this process. The inclusion of information technology in the education system of any level today is one of the most stable trends in the development of the world educational process. In this regard, their use in the field of education through multimedia is the most developed.
