Abstract

Negative trends in the style of communication and upbringing in
the family contribute to the emergence of bullying. 13% of teenagers are subjected
to severe domestic punishment, including physical violence. As a result of the
fact that children often perceive these punishments as unfair, hidden hostility
and aggression accumulate in them, which are then directed towards their peers.
Unfair punishment by parents and siblings increases aggression among teenagers,
encouraging them to physically and verbally victimize other children, teasing
classmates and damaging their property. The psychological stability of children
is primarily influenced by the situation in the family. Family upbringing has a
special impact on the psychological state of the child as a whole.
Cruelty and rudeness in some families negatively affect the child’s
psychology, contributing to the child becoming timid, cowardly, withdrawn. And
this trait, in turn, leads victimization to behavioral tendencies, which eventually
become victims of the victimization process between bullying, cyberbullying
by other children. The proposed article examines the negative impact of family
education on the period of formation of a child as a person in society. Obviously,
the family has always been the main cause of the problem of child victimization,
and one of the most striking examples leading to this conclusion is the parenting
style of parents. Turning to research, we assume that some parents resort to
violence in the process of parenting, so the right direction of parenting can be
effective in reducing the level of propensity of adolescents to victim behavior.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the socio-psychological factors of
the occurrence of victim behavior in adolescents and to analyze the influence and
contribution of family relationships to the predisposition of adolescents to victim
behavior. Victimization of adolescents refers to all possible forms of violence
against children. The study examines many types of victimization based on an integrated approach. In order to fully understand the victimization of adolescents,
its study in the context of domestic violence is considered.
This article analyzes in detail the impact of domestic violence on adolescents.
In particular, it is assessed whether there are differences in the likelihood that
adolescents who have been subjected to domestic violence and abuse outside the
home will become multivictims. The analysis is based on data obtained during a
study of teenagers in secondary schools in Almaty.
