In connection with democratic reforms, humanization of the social life and based on the national interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan, directed at the preservation of inter-ethnic stability, strengthening of Kazakhstani patriotism and ethnic revival of peoples in modern society, the role of folk pedagogy and its ideas continues to grow. Joint efforts of scientists, teachers, educational institutions and public organizations are required to solve the majority of problems of the folk pedagogy, that is, to determine and substantiate its methodological basis, goals and tasks, content of folk traditions, customs, and opportunities for their application in the current practice of education and teaching.
Under conditions of growing national consciousness, revival of cultural and spiritual traditions and language, it is vital for school students to acquire fundamental and deeper knowledge of the spiritual values of their nation, national culture, customs and traditions. Spiritual connection between the past, present and future should become a cementing element, carried out by education, teachers and traditions.
The article considers the role of the Kazakh family and family traditions in raising children, taking into account the values common to humanity, the historical experience of the Kazakh people, centuries-old traditions and customs, which create conditions for strengthening the morals, faith, and patriotism of the younger generation.
