Abstract

The article highlights the relevance of training highly qualified specialists with research competencies in professional and technical education organizations developing modern society. Based on the analysis of the research of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of pedagogy, psychology and scientific sociology, the essence of the concept of "research competence" is revealed. The practical foundations of the formation of scientific and research competencies among students in professional and technical education organizations are analyzed. Ust-Kamenogorsk, i.e. the forms of classes used by teachers in teaching biology, the specifics of the organization of educational activities, the methods and techniques used, the levels of development of research skills of students. The article describes the work of biology teachers in the organization of technical and vocational education on the differentiation of pedagogical experience and the problem of forming "research competence" in their educational process. 85 teachers and about 250 students participated in the pedagogical study, the results of the study were processed using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.

In the process of professional training, it turns out that research competence is one of the competencies that form a professional. The results of the study showed that currently biology teaching in professional and technical education organizations has wide opportunities for the formation of students' research competence based on cognitive universal learning activities. The results of the study of the pedagogical experience of biology teachers have shown that the task of forming research competence through educational activities is not set in every lesson.
