Abstract

The article discusses an urgent problem of modern society – the problem of moral education. The changes caused by globalization and the development of modern technologies have led to a number of changes in both the social, educational, spiritual, and moral spheres of life. Against the background of such changes, the issue of humanity, ethics, and moral education, in particular of the younger generation, becomes important. In the course of the research, a cartoon file was developed and tested, as well as the program of the study group on the topic "Cartoons as a means of moral education of primary school students." The card file is intended for children aged 7-10 years old and is aimed at forming their moral values and raising the level of moral education. The purpose of using the created card file is to form ideas about moral values among younger school children, to increase the level of moral education through cartoons. The proposed program is an effective tool for moral education, as it provides for the use of specially selected animated works aimed at forming children's initial ideas about moral norms, values, rules of behavior, as well as the essence of moral actions and moral behavior.
