Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the discursive competence of a social educator as a key aspect of his/her professional training, as well as to develop methods for its development in the context of the educational process. In the context of global changes and rapid development of the education sector, the importance of effective interaction between teachers, students and their parents has become especially relevant. Discursive competence plays a crucial role in ensuring communication, as it contributes to the successful interaction of participants in the educational process, including teachers, students and parents. This aspect of the social educator's work contributes to understanding and mutual understanding, which in turn improves educational and social outcomes.The article analyzes the methods and approaches aimed at developing the discursive competence of a social educator. Among them are trainings, seminars, project-based learning and other pedagogical methods. The training focuses on the practical application of these methods, helping to improve key skills such as active listening, reasoning, dialogue and conflict resolution.Much attention is paid to the results of experimental studies conducted among social and pedagogical workers. Participants who underwent special training demonstrated an increase in the level of discursive competence. These data confirm the effectiveness of the proposed teaching methods. The results of the experiment also showed that trainings and seminars can improve the participants' abilities in logical analysis, dialogue and conflict resolution. The importance of using educational technologies to improve the quality of the process is emphasized.The article discusses aspects of a personal approach to learning, creating a favorable atmosphere for communication, introducing modern technologies. This helps to create a flexible learning environment that effectively meets the needs of participants. The author emphasizes the need for continuous development of the discursive competence of a social educator to meet rapidly changing educational and social needs.Finally, the importance of continuous learning and professional development in the field of discursive competence is emphasized. This is a condition for improving the quality of the educational process and successful interaction of participants in the educational environment. Effective communication is the basis for productive interaction that contributes to the achievement of higher educational and social results.
