In the context of the rapid development of technical education, the role of curatorial activities aimed at supporting students in their professional and personal development is becoming particularly relevant. Curatorial activities at technical universities contribute to the formation of not only professional competencies in students, but also the social skills necessary for successful adaptation in modern society.
The aim of the study is to develop and justify pedagogical strategies that ensure effective support for curatorial activities at technical universities. The main areas of focus include analysing contemporary approaches to curatorship, identifying factors that influence the effectiveness of curators' work, and developing practical recommendations. The key ideas of the research are related to the integration of individual and group approaches in curatorial practice, as well as taking into account the specifics of technical education.
The scientific significance of the work lies in the systematisation of the theoretical foundations of curatorial activity and the development of a support model adapted to the conditions of a technical university. The practical significance is determined by the possibility of applying the proposed strategies to improve the quality of educational work and academic performance of students.
The study is based on a comprehensive approach that includes theoretical analysis of literature, surveys of students and curators, qualitative analysis of curatorial practice cases, and experimental implementation of the developed strategies. Methods of comparative analysis, pedagogical observation, and expert assessment were used.
The experimental part of the study was conducted at the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University in Astana. The sample of respondents consisted of 110 students from the technical and energy faculties, as well as curators of these student groups in their second year. As part of the experiment, the developed pedagogical strategies were implemented, including individualised support plans and group educational activities. Questionnaires, focus groups and analysis of students' academic performance were used to assess effectiveness. The experiment revealed positive dynamics in the level of student engagement and the quality of interaction with curators.
The study identified key problems in curatorship, including insufficient training of curators. A support system was developed to improve the effectiveness of interaction.
The work contributes to the development of pedagogical theory, enriching knowledge about the specifics of curatorial activities in technical education. The proposed strategies complement the following approaches, focusing on the integration of educational and educational processes.
