The article examines the effectiveness of implementing modern pedagogical technologies in higher education institutions of Kazakhstan within the context of educational digitalization. Particular attention is given to the theoretical foundations of the concept of “pedagogical technology” and its classification as proposed in the works of V.P. Bespalko, G.K. Selevko, E.S. Polat, and other scholars. The study analyzes current trends in the development of educational technologies, including the integration of digital tools, the individualization of learning, and the formation of a competency-based approach.
Based on empirical research conducted at humanities and social science profiles, the article presents comparative data on students' academic performance, learning motivation, autonomy, and satisfaction, depending on the instructional technologies used. The findings indicate a positive impact of implementing blended learning, flipped classroom, e-learning, and case-study methods on the quality of the educational process, the development of critical thinking, and increased student engagement.
The discussion section identifies key factors influencing the effectiveness of digital pedagogical technologies, as well as barriers to their implementation — including insufficient digital competence among instructors, limited technical resources, and the need for methodological support. The authors propose directions for improving pedagogical practices, with a focus on fostering digital culture, developing adaptive learning environments, and promoting the systemic transformation of higher education in Kazakhstan.
It is concluded that the successful implementation of pedagogical technologies in the context of digitalization requires a comprehensive approach that includes professional development of educators, curriculum modernization, and the active use of innovative instructional methods that ensure high-quality training of the next generation of specialists.
