In the article, ethnopedagogical training is considered as an essential part of the teacher's professional training, which is a continuous controlled process of formation of readiness for ethnopedagogical activity. The ethnopedagogical training of a teacher covers the entire block of pedagogical and psychological disciplines, includes not only the relevant knowledge, skills and abilities, but also a sufficiently formed self-determination of the individual as a carrier of a certain ethnic culture, as well as a creative understanding by future teachers of the possibilities of using ethnopedagogical ideas and traditions in pedagogical activity. The purpose, tasks, main components of the ethnopedagogical training of the future teacher are described, the ethnocultural competence of the future teacher is considered within the framework of a pedagogical educational institution that implements a system of activities in three most important interrelated areas: educational, social and educational and practical. The conditions are described (implementation of the ethno-cultural orientation of the educational process, which involves the use of interactive, design-research, simulation-game forms and teaching methods; a combination of educational and extracurricular forms and methods of teaching and education, the active inclusion of future specialists in socially significant work during extracurricular time; compliance the content of the industrial practice of future teachers, the main laws of ethno-cultural education, etc.) improving the ethno-cultural competence of future teachers in the educational process.
