PEDAGOGICAL DESIGN AS A MEANS OF INCREASING STUDENT MOTIVATION IN A DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The current stage of development of higher education involves a change in approaches and methods to its organization, updating the development of methods and goals of interaction between subjects of educational activity, as well as the analysis of educational components and models aimed at increasing student motivation. Based on this, the purpose of the work is to study pedagogical design in the context of a means of increasing student motivation for the educational process.

In the work, the concept of "pedagogical design" is considered in the context of the modern approach to the implementation of professional training for students. The features of the formation of the educational environment based on the general goals of learning tasks were investigated; The foundations of pedagogical design were characterized, in particular, the effective formation of goals, principles of scientificity, accessibility, self-organization, differentiation of the educational process, ensuring the conditions for the formation of one's own experience. The features of models of pedagogical design, which are used in universities of Kazakhstan, were studied.

During the study, models of pedagogical design were considered, like ARCS and ADDIE, used in pedagogical universities of Kazakhstan. Based on a comparative analysis, it was found that they are interconnected, provide for the achievement of common goals, namely, increasing the motivation of students in a digital educational environment. Work prospects are seen in further research aimed at the formation and development of motivation for first-year students, in the process of their adaptation to the activities of a higher educational institution, etc. The work also found that pedagogical design involves the dynamic involvement of students in educational work.The findings of the study can be used to develop new models of pedagogical design in higher education institutions.
