Abstract

The article discusses the latest new directions in using digital technologies in education, building future teachers’ digital competence to adopt to modern society as a necessary condition.

Having analyzed the definitions of Russian and foreign researchers, we believe that modern teachers should have digital competence. This implies the ability to independently develop digital content: develop digital educational resources, use software tools, visualization to develop educational content, use Internet resources for modeling and role-playing games together with students, use ICT to develop plans and assess their implementation in individual and group educational projects. Of course, all this must be studied and only then used in your professional practice. The learning process can take place in retraining courses for teachers and teachers.
