The article actualizes the study of the traditions of aesthetic education of the Kyrgyz people as an integral part of their pedagogical culture. In the process of historical development, the Kyrgyz developed their own methods of reflecting reality, their own methods and means of aesthetic education of the younger generations. The study of the traditions of Kyrgyz folk pedagogy on aesthetic education of children shows that the aesthetic values of the people permeate all types of children's activities, create an aesthetically educating environment through such forms as entertainment and creative, empirical, and traditionally sequential. The sources of aesthetic values of Kyrgyz folk pedagogy are: the folk epic "Manas", fairy tales, riddles, proverbs, songs, games, tongue twisters, counting books, nursery rhymes, various festivals, as well as the joint work of children with adults on the organization of everyday life and the production of decorative and applied art products, the nature of their native land. The pedagogical value of each of the sources used in the aesthetic education of children creates a unique national identity of the educational environment.
