Abstract

The article discusses the scientific and methodological contribution of Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages to the development of theory and methodology of foreign language education. It analyzes the main provisions of the cognitivelinguocultural methodology, substantiates its implementation from the standpoint of the anthropocentric paradigm. The significance of this methodology for universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are part of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council(EMA REMC) in groups of directions of foreign language educational programs, is characterized in this article as well. The correctness of the chosentechnological basis of the communicative and intercultural-oriented platform of foreign language education is emphasized in this work. A modification development of the Educational Programs (EP), which predetermines the change of the linear-controlled accumulative paradigm of education to a pragmatic-functional one, providing a professionally applied projection of the acquired knowledge into professional skills in the conditions of the created constructive mechanisms of the profession and education, is proposed in this article.
