This article is devoted to the development and analysis of an integrated approach to the education of global competencies, presenting a multidimensional model of education that integrates disciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching methods. The goal of the model is to prepare students for active participation in the life of a globalised world, solving international problems and implementing the acquired knowledge in real life.
The article is based on a descriptive method of analysis, with the help of which the formation of global competencies among young people in the educational environment was systematized. This method was chosen to evaluate and interpret existing approaches and strategies used in educational institutions to develop global competencies, and to identify potential gaps and opportunities for further development. The material for the analysis included scientific articles, reports of international organizations, educational programs and curricula, as well as regulatory documents related to issues of global education.
As a result, the authors provide recommendations for improving the state of global competence in Kazakhstan, based on research and data from international assessments such as PISA, and highlight successful practices of leading countries in integrating these competencies into the educational space.
The article also proposes a model of integrative global competence, which incorporates four interrelated principles: multi-level understanding of the world, central core competencies, integration and dynamic interaction, and application in educational practice. This model is intended for educational institutions aimed at increasing global literacy among youth. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of teacher training and the need to integrate global perspectives into educational programs to provide students with the skills necessary to function successfully in today's diverse and interconnected world.
