Abstract

The article analyzes research works devoted to the study of wildlife objects in biological education, and defines the basis for the formation of research skills of students. Approaches to scientific research in biological education through project activities of students are proposed. The course of application of the project method and stages of organization of research works in research activities are shown.  The methods of carrying out the project method in the classroom, during extracurricular hours, summing up the project results, evaluation criteria, and lesson stages are analyzed. When performing project work, the student improves the skills of organizing search activities, recognizing problems and the ability to solve them. The article reflects the role of students in improving their theoretical knowledge and practical skills, search abilities through project training. The method of complex implementation of this type of method by several pedagogical teaching methods is analyzed.
