PROBLEM TEACHING METHOD - A TOOL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' CREATIVE ABILITY IN THE LITERATURE LESSON

This article deals with the search for innovative methods of teaching students and the use of modern technologies in literature classes at higher educational institutions. It is intended to contribute to the methodology of teaching stories in the methodological field of modern pedagogic science, to consider the problems of teaching works of Kazakh literature at a higher educational institution, and to demonstrate the effectiveness of the problem-based teaching method in teaching literature. The purpose of the study is to determine the possibilities of using problem-based learning in literature classes.
The scientific significance of the article is that the results obtained in the study complement the concepts of the method of problem teaching works of Kazakh literature. The practical meaning of the article is that these studies can be used in the practice of teaching works of Kazakh literature in higher educational institutions.
Pedagogical, psychological and methodological literature on problem teaching and creation of problem situations in teaching was studied and analyzed in the article; the most effective ways and methods of creating problem situations contributing to development were sought. The following research methods were used to reveal this topic: observation, survey and experimental training. 50 future teachers-respondents of Kazakh literature took part in the study by filling out an anonymous online survey in order to determine how often they use problem-based teaching, as well as what forms and methods of teaching they use.
The problem approach in the organization of the educational process of the pedagogical university is very important as a technology that contributes to the formation of cognitive interest and a deeper understanding of the literary text.
The practical significance of the article is that its results, in particular, theoretical and practical materials, are intended for use by students in preparation for seminars on this topic, in literature classes on topics developed by teachers.
The study showed that problem-based learning as a modern teaching strategy allows students to activate cognitive activity in the literature lesson. This puts students in the position of a subject who has cognitive approach to the problem, while developing their creativity and ability to critically approach the understanding of the text.
