Abstract

In the modern educational space, the rapid development of digitalization requires the improvement of teaching technologies and the introduction of innovative methods. The practice of teaching geometry in secondary schools shows that students’ mastery of theoretical concepts and their ability to apply them in practice remain insufficient, which decreases their interest in the subject and defines the research problem. The purpose of this study is to identify the theoretical foundations of applying nano-learning technology in the secondary school geometry course and to reveal its specific features.

In accordance with this goal, the article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of using nano-learning in teaching geometry. The research analyzes the works of domestic and foreign scholars, determining the content structure and effectiveness of the nano-learning approach. This technology presents educational material in the form of small, logically connected nano-blocks, which enhance students’ engagement and improve the speed of information perception. Presenting knowledge through such structured fragments helps learners concentrate, facilitates comprehension, and supports the development of functional literacy.

Furthermore, the article proposes approaches to developing students’ cognitive abilities through visual, animated, and interactive methods for presenting complex geometric concepts. As a result of the study, a model for structuring the geometry course into nano-capsules was developed, providing methods for personalization and effective organization of the learning process. The study concludes that the integration of nano-learning technology in secondary school practice meets modern educational requirements and contributes to the effectiveness of teaching geometry.
